RECTOR’S-" (For 24 Years One of the South’s Better Cleaners) TELEPHONE No. 203 COMMUNICATIONS During the three years the Tryon schools have had the schol astic accident insurance for students and school personnel, $2,118.05 has been received in benefits by injured persons who had the insurance, while only $1,372.50 has been paid to the insurance company in premiums. A student could carry this insurance for 11 years and never receive a penny in benefits but have an accident in the 12th grade and receive back several times the amount of the premiums paid in the previous 11 years. This insurance will cost $1.25 per person during the 1953-54 school year, but the blanket medi cal benefit has doubled since last year’s policy from $1,000 to $2,000. This means that the insurance will pay in full, up to $2,000, the medi cal, hospital and dental expenses for all treatment received during the 12-month period following the accidental injury, if such treat ment commences within 60 days following the injury. Further information concerning this protection will be given each child on the opening day of-school to take home to parents.—Brank Proffitt, Supt. Tryon City Schools.
